Ontroerend Goed continues with their challenging theatre performances with this latest focusing on the prejudice women suffers. Performed as an orchestra piece where the seven performers, the opening variety of sound that incorporates some extra sound processing and sets out the sirens aspect of the show. An impressive series of chauvinistic woman jokes follows and a collection of personal anecdotes of discrimination and abuse the actors themselves suffered. It is done with a light touch but yet thoughtful. And importantly, very depressing that this show needs to exist and the contents so heartbreakingly immediate.
