In collaboration with Petersham Playhouse, the Charles Dickens Museum is transformed into Mr Fezziwig’s Victorian home for their Christmas party. Guests are invited to roam around the building from the kitchen in the cellar with a merry chef singing an operetta on fig pudding making to the attic where the spirit lives. There are a variety here with Cello performance and a story/poetry telling in the drawing room next to the Christmas tree. Of course, Scrooge is present but he is this rather joyful and quiet young man. The characters are charming, sociable and hospitable and makes very pleasant company. And together with the mix of performances throughout the building makes it an enjoyable and undemanding hour.
