The final show of this year’s Edniburgh Comedy Award nomination brings the eloquent Romesh Ranganathan. His material revolves around his family life and leads him to shoot off in all directions with his observations and somewhat firm opinions. There is no doubt Ranganathan is extremely articulate and smooth. He also finds a great balance between expressing an opinion and be charmingly inoffensive about it which is a great skill. The show lacks of structure and the bells and whistles that is required to win the comedy award, but as a stand up comedy show and pure entertainment, it is highly skilled and well written.
