This work in progress piece performed by Sarah Ruff of PatternFight is a multimedia performance mixing uses of animation, recordings, live camera work and everything else you can think of. The narrative has the protagonist Sarah on a learning journey to be a good wife through some questionable advice from her extended family. All the cliches are present: cooking (or microwaving), housework and watching football with a beer. There are application of clever little props include household appliances which is frankly much underused in theatre. There is a brilliantly darkly comic animated scene when Sarah went to look for food and the extended battering of a cow is timed to perfection. There are some good ideas in it and a better narrative and better links can see it extended to a full show.
