A promenade performance by The Building Site Theatre Company as a finalist for the Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust, it explores the relationship between the function of church in a factious society and its people. There are ideas relating the history of church with its power over people whilst offering help, guidance and refuge. There were quite a lot of ideas going on and the space was beautiful along with a thick smell of incense. There is definitely potential to develop this into a more involving narrative and better use of the audience.
