Please leave your phone on and turn on the ringer is not something the audience is asked to do as they walk into a show. Mobile phone is an integral part of our lives and this interactive show explores our relationship with it. Based on poetry, some written by the audience, there are little exercises which highlight how our life has been changed with our smartphone which has changed our perception of loneliness and how connected we are with others. The poetry is insightful and explored most of what is to be explored within the topic. The audience text and leave each other voice mail messages and some quite interesting activities details of which shall be refrained here. One criticism is that the show is a little stop start and episodic but this maybe because it is still in preview. And the combination of the performance of the softly spoken and sincere Hannah Jane Walker combined with the more hard edged and intense Chris Thorpe works well.
