Quilon

The food is a little hit and miss in terms of high end Indian cuisine in London, competent rather than special. Cauliflower chilli fry was delicately flavoured but a bit hard in texture. Crab cakes was meaty and fresh but slightly lacking in imagination in terms of its accompanying flavour. Main course of crispy fried stuffed squid was excellent which elevated the experience of the evening but unfortunately ruined by the bland, uninteresting manglorean chicken which lacks any of the flavour listed in the menu. Service was excellent though and with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I would prefer Rasoi Vineet Bhatia or Amaya unless you can pick out the dishes they do excel.
