Sara Pascoe Foster Comedy nominated show about her love life and growing up, how to deal with being in her 30s and other life musing. Her earnestness is what comes through straight away and draws the audience in. There is a great flow to the material and a strong coherence as she shift seamlessly from one anecdote to another. There is the underlying theme of female sexuality and empowerment but it never strays into feminist militancy. For all the nominated shows seen so far (only Romesh Raganathan and Alex Horne to go), this is the best constructed and without gimmick, superbly written, thoughtful and beautifully entertaining throughout.
