A beautiful story of a young girl’s adventure in the footstep of her beloved granddad, exploring the world with a husky as a companion. A brilliant opening five minutes montage of a family holiday sets up the background, with the cast of four plays multiple character and features some impressive quick costume changes. Then a Disney style musical adventure takes in a bouncy kangaroo and some imaginative and effective puppetry. The costumes and colour is strong and together with elements of dance, it is a visually rich experience. The only criticism is the somewhat forgettable music. This is a master-class in theatre direction and it is a story with real heart and moving sentimentality, just like the best of Disney.
