A scratch show by Joe Wild and Lawrence Speck explores the idea and elements of being a super hero. Who are the good and bad guys out there, what are the categories of fictional super heroes and as the duo attempt to be one, what will be their super hero names? Using a loose structure of dialogues, storytelling and interpretive dance, the pair takes the audience on a guide to be a superhero while incorporating stories from their own childhood, making it a more personal and sincere performance. It also fits in well with its low-fi production and relaxed humour. The show will improve with a bit more development, with better continuity and linking of the personal stories and current events.
