The Dwindling House of Holland – Holland Park. **

As a companion piece to Opera Holland Park Turn of the Screw, this immersive walk by Immercity around Holland Park has the participants dressed in cloaks, walking in a single file into the darkness. A few stories about ghostly apparitions in the park accompanies our journey and shadowy figures lurk in the bushes. But it doesn’t goes much further than this. There are slightly too much walking and not much else. The stories are adequately told without embellishment and much of the atmosphere is with the park itself in full moonlight. One will have to bring a rich imagination for it to be effective and being locked inside Holland park after the show further reduces the enjoyment of the evening.
