This promenade performance of Simon Stephen’s three part plays is set in the shadow of Heathrow airport with the rumbling of planes intermittently interrupting the scenes. The interlinked stories takes place in three different rooms and the audience is guided through them with some imaginative linking sequence. This offering from The Human Animal has great ambition and excellent work from cast. The strongest is the second part as it builds the tension and carefully dropping in enough plot details to be intriguing. But it somewhat falls apart in the atmospherically tense but muddled final part. This is a good example of theatrical experimentation that is thoughtful and well executed.
